Open Letter to Tata 1 mg
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my absolute disappointment and frustration regarding the repeated cancellation and non-delivery of my medicine order – Dr. Reckeweg Calc Carb (11 ml), Order No. PO12725296898153, placed on 5th May 2025.
It is deeply disturbing and unacceptable that a company of Tata’s stature and reputation is handling such a critical matter – the supply of essential medicines – with gross negligence and complete irresponsibility. The order was cancelled twice without proper justification, and as of today, it still shows as “in process.” This is not just a logistical failure – it is a complete disregard for the urgency and necessity of medicinal delivery for patients who depend on timely access to such essential items.
This is not an FMCG product where delays may be tolerated. This is a life-impacting product. The cavalier attitude displayed in dealing with the supply of medicine is shameful and utterly unprofessional. Your actions – or rather, inaction – have caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and potential risk to health.
I feel cheated, misled, and treated with indifference by a company that is expected to uphold the trust of millions. This behaviour is not just disappointing; it is dangerous. You have not only failed to fulfil your basic responsibility but have also tarnished the name of Tata – a brand once synonymous with trust and integrity.
I demand an immediate explanation, accountability for this reckless conduct, and assurance that such disgraceful lapses will not happen again. Let it be clearly understood – you have no right to play with the lives and needs of patients. If this is how you handle essential commodities, your very presence in this sector deserves serious scrutiny.
"It is both laughable and disgraceful that Tata 1mg, backed by one of India’s most reputed business houses, cannot manage something as basic as logistics — with packets mysteriously getting lost en route like we’re living in the 90s."
"How ironic that a company under the prestigious Tata umbrella, known for excellence, is now fumbling with basic delivery operations — losing medicine packets in transit like amateurs."
"Is this how Tata 1mg operates — unable to track a single parcel, losing medicines meant for patients, and blaming it on the logistics maze of their own making? It’s not just funny, it’s shamefully irresponsible."
"The sheer mismanagement and carelessness in handling medicine deliveries is not just an operational failure — it’s a stain on the Tata legacy, and a joke in the name of service."
"If Tata 1mg cannot ensure the safe and timely delivery of a small medicine bottle, it seriously needs to rethink its right to be in the healthcare space. This level of failure is laughable, if it weren’t so dangerous."
I expect a prompt response, and more importantly, concrete corrective.
